Our Deli

Our shop offers a huge choice of speciality food produce from all over Scotland – smoked meats, cooked meats, fish, pâté, haggis, jams, chutneys, cheese, chocolates, mustards, cakes, biscuits, oatcakes, breads, ice cream, not forgetting the wines, beers, gins, vodkas and rum!

Our shop was built in 1809 at the behest of the Duke of Atholl, who wanted there to be a village grocer’s shop in a prominent position at the newly built crossroads. Since then it has held pride of place in the village, and always been some sort of food, grocer, supplies shop. For over 50 years, the shop was a delicatessen under the name ‘Robert Menzies’ and is still known amongst locals and regulars as ‘Menzies of Dunkeld’. Situated in the heart of Dunkeld on the corner of the street leading to the famous Dunkeld Cathedral, the Scottish Deli Dunkeld is a ‘must visit’ on any trip to the town. As an old shop with original features and huge amounts of character, it lends itself to the wonderful sights and smells of a traditional deli. This is also where our select range of international fine wines, Scottish craft beers and Scottish gins and spirits can be found.
